It was reported that eBay is the most sought after shopping place in the internet than any other online sites. In 2004, eBay users transacted a record of $34.2 billion worth of merchandises. According to eBay, about 430,000 people in the world are making their living by selling merchandises and services on eBay. Can you make money in eBay? The answer to this question is obvious. These facts have revealed it to you and as we know, figures are good supporting evidence. John Stack, who operates his eBay business under the name A City Discount, is trading new and used restaurant equipment. In 1999, the company had a revenue of $400,000 and it did not rest there. The revenue increases every year, $1.4 million in 2002, $4 million in 2003 and $10 million in 2004. Bruce Hershenson is selling vintage movie posters and cinematic advertising through eBay under the name eMoviePoster.com. He made $1.89 million on 31,000 auctions in 2002 and $2.8 million on nearly 40,000 auctions in 2004. Randy Smythe is running Glacier Bay DVD, which sells DVDs. He made a revenue of $5 million in 2004, making Glacier Bay DVD one of the 30 largest DVD retailers. How do the three examples above sound to you? Does it seem too good to be true? In any case, these are real life examples providing evidence on the amount of money you can possibly make on eBay. Will you make the same amount of money as these people? Nobody knows.
